St. John The Divine

The nest which is now above the statue of St. Peter about ten feet has three eyasses this year.  With the construction over next door, and the nest bigger than last year, the parents seem back to a normal pattern this year.

Growing Up At Riverside and 116th

The two eyasses are looking a great deal older than the last time I saw them.  Fluffy gray bodies have given way to brown wings and orange chests.  There mother was just finishing up a feeding when I arrived.

Delivery and Meal at Washington Square Park

The only child at Washington Square Park is getting lots of TLC from its parents.  These pictures are from Saturday.

Tompkins Square Park Lunch

The Tompkins Square Park hawks look fantastic.  They’re doing well in their tree nest after two years on air conditioners.   All three youngsters look healthy and well fed.

Fifth Avenue on Thursday

I’ve gotten behind in processing photos and video over the last few days.  These are pictures of the Fifth Avenue nest from Thursday evening.

Show Offs On Fifth Avenue

The eyasses at Fifth Avenue are getting big enough that a visit to the nest is a rewarding visit even without watching a feeding.  I had a lot of fun watching them this evening.
